Update on our beautiful Lando 💙

Wow what a day! Today was a big day for our boy and for us

Today we got to hold our boy!

Our strong beautiful boy Lando.

Our boy is making amazing progress ( God is good )

Today he come off some of his treatments!

and we got to hold him and he had his first feed via a tube feed, 5mls of milk but that is such amazing progress!!!!!

And we got to do the tube feed ourselves for our boy

What an incredible team looking after our baby and all the precious babies in the Neo natal, I have no words other than INCREDIBLE they work miracles every single day in there.

I’m an emotional mama tonight , me and Landos daddy are so so so proud and felt like we had won the lottery tonight getting to hold our boy.

What an emotional journey this is but our boy is SO strong and we have total faith he will keep making fantastic progress and both me and lando will be home with daddy and his siblings very soon

We still have some tests to be done which is an anxious time BUT we have faith!

And that is so strong and we are being so positive!

Thanks for your continued support and prayers for our boy and family it means so much!

We are surrounded with such supportive family and friends and our lovely music family ( you guys) on here, we are so grateful

Little update guys

The tightenings and pain did subside for me to sleep last night, but I do have them today again on and off but I’m just taking it slow and seeing if it’s just my body preparing for the day he makes his appearance or if it’s actually leading to something earlier, I’m assuming it’s just some uncomfortable braxton hicks? But stronger ones as they are giving me some discomfort with them , the midwife said apparently they can feel more painful when you’ve had more pregnancies and babas, so I’m gonna just keep going and see what happens.
So been for lovely breakfast with my hubby he’s took the day off work and we are on our way to the hospital for me to have an iron infusion.

35 week 1 day Pregnancy / scan update

Hey guys I promised I’d update you after our scan on bump today

He’s growing soooo well he’s gained another 1.3 pounds since his last scan a few weeks ago

he’s now around 6.3 pounds the sonogropher predicts he will be around 8 pounds + but said if we weren’t being induced he would be around 9-9.5lbs

I know the weight is only estimated but he’s a nicely growing baba and very happy in there.
The sonogropher said his head is very low down, and in the perfect position for birth

so that’s positive

In terms of my health I worked so hard on my gestational diabetes diet this week that my blood readings are all nearly in range so I can keep on the diet instead of insulin!

I was so determined to keep to a diet so that’s a positive

However my meds have been upped for my thyroid and stuff due to low counts and I am getting b12 injections again starting tomorrow as that’s really low and I have been booked in for 2 iron infusions due to my iron levels depleting and meds not working, and it’s too risky being so close to our induction having low iron due to any blood loss at birth.
So that will be this week.
And my sweeps are being booked in this week too for 37 weeks the week before induction

ahhh all so real.
Everyone kept saying today “ it’s so close to having baby now” and it kept hitting home that we are finally meeting him in less than 3 weeks time!!!!
2 weeks 6 days to be precise ….. not counting or anything

But all in all everything went well and my and hubby loved seeing our little boy on the scan today and he pouring his lips ( as seen in the picture below with his little button nose
